reoccurring dream

When I was a little kid, I’d have these strange dreams right as I was falling asleep, where everything was simultaneously both big and small, near and far.  It was a terrifying world that would probably drive you completely nutters if you spent any amount of time in it.  I tried to paint what it felt like and this is what happened.
